Plantable Greeting Cards - Create Your Own

What size does my design need to be for branded plantable greeting cards?
Your design should be sized at A5 (148mm x 210mm) in landscape or portrait orientation. We print your design on the front and add your planting instructions and brand information neatly to the back - so you only need to submit your front design. No crop marks or bleeds needed.

How do I submit my design for custom branded plantable greeting cards?
We accept designs in two formats:

• Canva link - share your Canva design link (set to "Anyone with the link can view") and we'll work directly from it, adding planting instructions and your brand details to the back
• High-resolution PNG — upload your finished front design directly on this page or email it to hello@alakartcreations.co.uk before purchasing and we'll check it over for you

Please ensure your design meets the following requirements:

• What file format do I need for plantable greeting cards? High-resolution PNG preferred
• Can I use a background colour on branded seed paper greeting cards? We recommend no background colour to protect germination and ensure the best print quality
• How much ink coverage is allowed on plantable greeting cards? Maximum 40% across your design

Do you offer free design help for branded plantable greeting cards?
Yes - if you don't have a design ready we'll create one for you free of charge. Send us your logo (PNG), brand colours and any style preferences via live chat or email. We'll present your design for approval with up to 2 free amendments included. Once you're completely happy just go ahead and place your order.

Can I add a branded clasp sticker to my custom plantable greeting cards?
Yes - branded clasp stickers are available as an optional add on for an additional fee. A beautiful finishing touch that keeps your card sealed and adds a premium, professional feel to your branded eco-friendly greeting cards.

Can I see a test print before my branded greeting cards are printed?
Yes - we review every design before printing and come back to you within 1 working day if anything needs adjusting. On request we can send a test print photo so you can see exactly how your design looks printed on our seed paper before committing to a full order.

• Text is clear and legible on the seed paper surface
• Cards are folded neatly from A5 to A6 and paired with a recycled brown kraft envelope

• A5 folded to A6 (105mm x 148mm)

Can I mix designs within my minimum order of custom branded plantable greeting cards?
Yes - you can mix designs within your minimum order. This means you can order a combination of different card designs, occasions or messages in one order - perfect for gift shops, eco retailers and independent stores who want to offer their customers variety without committing to large quantities of a single design. Each card is branded with your logo and details. Get in touch to discuss your design mix before placing your order and we'll make sure everything is set up correctly.

Can I add a QR code to my branded plantable greeting cards?
Yes - a QR code linking to your website, social media or any other destination can be included on your custom branded plantable seed paper greeting cards. We individually scan every QR code before dispatch to confirm it works correctly. A great way to drive traffic to your online store or social media while giving customers a beautiful eco-friendly card to plant and grow.
