Collection: Plantable Bookmarks

Bookmarks are kept for a while - but rarely become something more.

Our plantable bookmarks are designed to be used, kept, and then planted. After serving as a thoughtful reminder of your appreciation, they can grow into wildflowers instead of being thrown away.

Made from our exclusive UK wildflower seed paper containing 20 different native seeds, each bookmark turns a small gift into something lasting and meaningful.

A simple, sustainable gift that continues to grow long after the occasion.

FAQs

What is seed paper?

Our eco-friendly seed paper is handmade in the UK using recycled materials i.e. cotton pulp and embedded with a mix of wildflower seeds. It's fully biodegradable and grows into beautiful flowers when planted—leaving no waste behind.

What seeds are in the paper?

We use a bee-friendly mix of fresh 20 different UK-native wildflowers, which will include seeds like poppy, marigold, forget me not, birdsfoot trefoil, daisy and more.

How do I plant it?

  1. Tear the paper into pieces and soak them in water for a few seconds.
  2. Prepare a pot with soil and fill it almost to the top.
  3. Place the soaked paper on top under 1 cm of soil.
  4. Keep the soil moist but avoid over-watering.
  5. Place it in the sunniest spot of the house.
  6. Watch the shoots come out within days.
  7. Plant it outside in Spring or Autumn when the roots are strong.

How long does it last before planting?

You will always receive freshly made paper from us. If kept in a cool, dry place, the seeds will remain viable for up to 18 months—perfect for gifting or future planting.

Is it safe for pets or the environment?

Yes! Our seed paper contains no harmful chemicals or dyes and is safe for wildlife and pollinators.

Can I recycle it instead?

You can, but we recommend planting it! If not, it can be composted or recycled with paper waste.
