Already have a design?
Please ensure your design meets the following requirements before uploading. We accept uploads directly on this page or via a Canva link - just make sure your Canva link is set to "Anyone with the link can view" before sharing.

  • What size should my design be? 14.35cm x 20.25cm (landscape or portrait)
  • What file format do I need? High-resolution PNG is preferred for the best print quality on seed paper
  • Can I use a background colour? We recommend no background colour to protect germination and ensure the best print result
  • How much ink coverage is allowed on seed paper? A maximum of 40% ink coverage across your design - contact us if you're unsure
  • What size does my QR code need to be on seed paper flyers? A minimum of 1.5cm x 1.5cm to ensure it scans reliably
  • No crop marks or bleeds needed

Need us to create a design?
No problem - send us your logo (PNG), business information and any style preferences via live chat or email and we'll create one for you free of charge. We'll present your design for approval with up to 2 free amendments included. Once you're happy just go ahead and place your order.

How long does design approval take?
We review every design before printing and come back to you within 1 working day if anything needs adjusting. We can also send a test print photo on request so you can see exactly how your design looks on our seed paper before committing.

Our Seed Paper & How To Grow It

Our exclusive wildflower seed paper is handmade in the UK from cotton textile offcuts that would otherwise be thrown away - repurposed into pulp and embedded with over 20 types of fresh native wildflower seeds. Made in small batches specifically for A La KArt Creations - never mass produced, never old stock. Regularly tested to ensure reliable germination, with sprouts typically appearing within days. We've been growing beautifully for over 5 years and we're not stopping. 

How To Grow Your Seed Paper
Plant indoors any time of year.

  1. Tear your seed paper into pieces and soak in water for a few seconds.
  2. Fill a pot almost to the top with soil.
  3. Place the soaked paper on top and cover with approximately 1cm of soil.
  4. Keep the soil moist but avoid over watering.
  5. Place in the sunniest spot you have.
  6. Watch shoots appear within days. Once roots are established move outside in Spring or Autumn
