What size do I need for my plantable seed paper candle dust cover?
Our dust covers fit jars with an internal diameter of 55mm to 95mm. Measure the inside of your jar opening from inside to inside and take off 1-2mm for a snug fit. If your jar is outside this range please get in touch before ordering and we may still be able to accommodate you with a custom size.

Please double check your jar diameter before ordering as all dust covers are made to order and we're unable to offer returns or refunds if the size isn't suitable.

These plantable candle dust covers are made from our exclusive UK seed paper containing 20 different native UK wildflower seeds. After use, they can be planted - even directly into the same candle pot - to grow wildflowers.

Available in custom sizes to fit your candle jars, these blank covers work with both cotton and wooden wicks. Leave them plain for a natural finish or personalise them to suit your brand.

Yes - our plantable seed paper candle dust covers are suitable for both cotton and wooden wick candles, but we can also cater for multi wick candles (reach out via email or Chat). Made to your exact jar size so they always fit perfectly regardless of wick type.

Can customers plant the candle dust cover inside the candle jar once it's empty?
Yes - and this is one of our favourite things about our plantable seed paper candle dust covers. Once the candle is finished and the jar is clean, customers can tear the dust cover into pieces, place it in the jar with a little soil and plant it directly. The jar becomes a plant pot and the cover grows into wildflowers - embedded with 20 different native UK wildflower seeds. Zero waste from start to finish.

Our exclusive wildflower seed paper is handmade in the UK from cotton textile offcuts that would otherwise be thrown away - repurposed into pulp and embedded with over 20 types of fresh native wildflower seeds. Made in small batches specifically for A La KArt Creations - never mass produced, never old stock. Regularly tested to ensure reliable germination, with sprouts typically appearing within days. We've been growing beautifully for over 5 years and we're not stopping.

How To Grow Your Seed Paper
Plant indoors any time of year.

Tear your seed paper into pieces and soak in water for a few seconds.
Fill a pot almost to the top with soil.
Place the soaked paper on top and cover with approximately 1cm of soil.
Keep the soil moist but avoid over watering.
Place in the sunniest spot you have.
Watch shoots appear within days. Once roots are established move outside in Spring or Autumn
