Frequently Asked Questions

Do plantable wedding thank you cards come with envelopes? Yes - our plantable seed paper wedding thank you cards come with recycled brown kraft envelopes as standard, ready to address and send to your guests. A beautiful, eco-friendly finishing touch to your sustainable wedding stationery suite - the last thing your guests receive from you, embedded with 20 different native UK wildflower seeds for them to plant
and grow.

How long after the wedding should I send seed paper thank you cards? UK wedding etiquette traditionally suggests sending thank you cards within 2 months of your wedding date - though sooner is always appreciated. Your guests receive a beautiful,
personalised thank you that they can read and then plant to grow wildflowers - a lasting reminder of your special day.

Can I personalise the wedding thank you card with a different message? Our plantable seed paper wedding
thank you cards can be personalised with your own thank you message.

Can I order blank thank you card only with just a design so I can write my own personalised message in the middle?
Yes - we can create your plantable seed paper wedding thank you cards with a beautiful design and leave the middle completely blank for you to write your own personal message to each guest. We recommend using a standard black ballpoint pen for the best results on our naturally textured seed paper. Avoid calligraphy pens, felt tips and marker pens as these can bleed into the porous surface of the paper.

Our Seed Paper & How To Grow It

Our exclusive wildflower seed paper is handmade in the UK from cotton textile offcuts that would otherwise be thrown away - repurposed into pulp and embedded with over 20 types of fresh native wildflower seeds. Made in small batches specifically for A La KArt Creations - never mass produced, never old stock. Regularly tested to ensure reliable germination, with sprouts typically appearing within days. We've been growing beautifully for over 5 years and we're not stopping.
