Terms and Conditions for Wedding Stationery

Welcome to our Wedding Stationery services! By placing an order for Wedding stationery, you're agreeing to these terms and conditions.

1. Orders, Payment & Cancellations

1.1. To begin, full payment is required before any printing begins. Our Wedding stationery is bespoke, and once in production, restocking is not possible.

1.2. If you have a change of heart after making full payment, and we've already started printing, we can't offer a full refund. However, we'll assess a partial refund based on the work completed.

1.3. Additional services, such as custom design work, will be billed separately and are non-refundable once confirmed.

1.4. In unforeseen circumstances that require rescheduling, we'll inform you. You can choose to cancel for a full refund or consider an alternative we propose.

2. Proofing and Approval

2.1. Before full production begins, we'll provide a test print of your Wedding stationery.

2.2. You'll have the opportunity to review the test prints and can request up to 2 significant changes. Further edits may incur additional costs.

2.3. If you approve the test prints and we commence production, we can't provide a refund or replacement for errors, unless they are our mistake.

2.4. Any documents you provide with names, locations, etc., are considered final. We accept no responsibility for errors in those documents.

3. Delivery and Collection

3.1. Unless otherwise arranged, we'll dispatch your Wedding stationery to your specified delivery address. We don't take responsibility for incorrect information.

3.2. We use Royal Mail's 24 Hour Tracked delivery with a signature service.

3.3. As all our products are handmade, delivery times may vary based on the current order volume. We aim to post orders within 2 weeks. An estimated delivery date will be confirmed by email once payment is received.

3.4. We shall not be held responsible for any delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control.

3.5. If you choose to collect your Wedding stationery, you must ensure it is packed and transported safely.

4. Liability and Indemnity

4.1. After delivery or collection, we shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to the Wedding stationery.

5. Returns & Refunds

5.1. Unfortunately, customised items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are incorrect or damaged.

5.2. Agreed refunds will be processed within 7-10 days. If a refund has not been received within this time, ensure to check with your bank/building society.

6. Damages

6.1. Should your items arrive damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving delivery, providing photos and written evidence. Any damaged items will be promptly reviewed and replaced, partially refunded, or fully refunded, depending on the severity, as we see fit.

6.2. For a full refund, you might need to send the damaged items back. We'll make this clear in our communication.

6.3. If you don't cooperate and provide evidence of damage within 48 hours, your rights to a replacement or any refunds may be forfeited.

7. Product Quality & Expiry

7.1. All items are created with freshly made seed paper; however, to ensure optimal germination, we recommend using them within 18 months of delivery.

7.2. We test all paper sheets before supply, as they contain live seeds. Due to factors such as temperature, moisture, air, and light conditions, we accept no responsibility for any lack of germination.

7.3. We will always recommend the best outcome for germination. If you opt for a design with heavy ink coverage, this may heavily affect germination, and we will notify you before placing your order.

7.4. All products are handmade and may slightly vary in size, shape, and weight.

8. Data Protection

8.1. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) regulations. Unless you explicitly request strict confidentiality in advance, we may showcase materials we've created for you online and on social media.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1. If there's a dispute between you and A La KArt Creations, we both commit to trying mediation or arbitration in a respectful and cooperative way before considering legal action.

10. Force Majeure Clause

10.1. You and A La KArt Creations understand that neither of us can be blamed if we can't fulfill our commitments because of things beyond our control, like natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or unexpected world events.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

11.1. Custom designs created during the engagement remain the property of A La KArt Creations. You may be granted limited rights for personal use as agreed upon.

12. Termination

12.1. Both parties have the right to terminate this agreement under specified conditions, such as breach of contract.
